Updated: Apr 7

Grafton's Addie McGrath, Saint John's Jackson Fournier Win HoopCentral508's Inaugural Fan-Voted Player of the Year Awards

For the first time, HoopCentral508 let Central Massachusetts fans, players, and parents decide the 2025–26 Players of the Year through an open online Community Voting Poll—giving everyday voices a say in local hoops history.

The poll sparked debate, boosted exposure for standouts, and embodied HoopCentral508's fan-first ethos. When votes tallied, Grafton's Addie McGrath (129 votes) and Saint John's Jackson Fournier (100 votes) rose to the top.

Saint John's Jackson Fournier, a Maryland baseball commit with a 3.7 GPA, delivered clutch: 27 points vs. Shrewsbury, a dagger three to beat Catholic Memorial in playoffs, plus wins over Xaverian. It's a brotherhood culture, he said, that pushed them to the Elite 8 before a 55-52 heartbreaker to #1 Central Catholic.
